We were able to follow the plan until the afternoon, when the idea of being on a diet kicked intense snacking into high gear. Then we were invited to a wonderful couple's home, where he is a self-proclaimed chef and fed us an unbelievably delicious North African 4-course meal. We'll start the plan tomorrow, and I will be posting plan-appropriate recipes. Meanwhile, we will order undressed salads with grilled chicken, carry around a bottle of flax seed oil, and get used to the cranberry water routine.

Flushing Some Fat
The fat flush plan can be pretty simple. Drink a glass of cranberry water with flax meal spinning in it upon awakening and before going to bed. Drink a cup of warm water with juice of half a lemon before breakfast, drink a glass of cranberry water 20 minutes before and with every meal, and two extra glasses in the afternoon. The meals are easy too: lean protein with vegetables plus flax seed oil and lemon juice. The book is really well-written and easy to follow if you want the details.

What's cranberry water? Is it cranberry juice?
soha
it's the cranberry juice + water (4 oz cranberry juice + 28 oz water)
It's OK to use sparkling water to the cranberry, correct?
Also, when adding the flax meal to the cran/water - does this make the drink a total "gagger" - as in reflux? Doesn't sound too appetizing!
Also, the flax meal is only added upon awakening/bedtime? Not during the day?
The more I read, the less I want to "flush".
Well, I have flushed in the past with bubbly water. It is more appetizing. I only do the flax meal thing upon awakening, because of the logistics of having a drink right before bed (after two back-to-back pregnancies). What I do, is keep a spoon in the glass, stir the drink and take a sip; stir the drink again before every sip. I love the taste of flax meal. It's nutty and chewy and it feels like I'm eating something like a carb (rather than just guzzling a drink). I also sip this while reading something interesting on the internet. It helps to be distracted!
bla bla bla
i wrote the "bla bla bla" comment myself, as a test to see if readers could use the "anonymous" option if they don't have a google account. It works! But I can't delete the "bla bla bla" part.
